Jarvis Township Senior Citizen Center
The Jarvis Township Senior Citizen Center is open from 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. The center is located at the Wiesemeyer Senior Center in the Tri-Township Park, 410 Wickliffe Street, Troy, IL.
The Senior Center is not limited to low income persons! Anyone is welcome to visit the center regardless of income level. Please encourage your friends to come for a visit and see what we do! Our programs and services are currently being changed to include the interests of the "Baby Boomers" age group. Retirement does not have to be BORING! Like the saying goes "use it or lose it". Volunteer and stay active.
How We Are Funded
Activities and programs held at the center are partially funded by United Way of Southwestern Illinois, Jarvis Township, City of Troy, Tri-Township Park, fundraisers, membership dues, memorials, and your donations.
Funding for meals and transportation is received from the United States Administration on Aging, the Illinois Department on Aging and the Area Agency on Aging of Southwestern Illinois.
